Last night, Andrea Bocelli delivered the largest classical concert in Europe of this century, captivating thousands of fans at BST Hyde Park. Despite the evening’s relentless rain, the audience remained enthralled by the Italian maestro’s powerful vocals and the remarkable guest performances from artists such as Seal and Hans Zimmer.

The evening began with Matteo Bocelli opening the show, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. During the main set, twelve-year-old Virginia Bocelli joined her father for a special duet. Seated with an acoustic guitar, he welcomed her on stage, playfully remarking that they would sing a song as they do at home, but this time she needed to be at her best.

The song they performed was Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, a track that marked Virginia’s professional debut with her father at just eight years old during a Christmas lockdown live stream concert in 2020. As she began to sing, the massive crowd erupted in applause, recognizing her talent before Andrea joined in. Virginia is also expected to perform at the upcoming Andrea Bocelli 30th anniversary concerts in Tuscany later this month.
