I’m by no means a musician, but during my upbringing, I did take lessons for various instruments. The first real musical instrument I learned to play was the piano, and I’ll always remember the first time I had to perform in front of a live audience. It was a modest audience of fewer than fifteen people, mostly consisting of my classmates’ and my family members, yet it was still nerve-wracking.
Thankfully, I managed to navigate through the recital without any major mistakes, and that’s when I realized that live entertainment might not be my calling! While many people avoid performing live due to the pressure, there are those who live for it. Stepping into the spotlight and captivating the crowd is their dream. If you follow country music, you likely understand the tremendous honor it is to perform on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.
