A friend of mine decided to adopt a little girl who had been abandoned in the maternity ward. Her motivation was to provide love and care to a child who had experienced rejection. She already had a son, and despite the doctors’ initial prognosis that he wouldn’t live long due to illness, his life surpassed expectations through the power of love and care. 
As he grew up, got married, and experienced a few years of married life, he eventually passed away peacefully. The adoption of the little girl brought joy back into their home.
The parents showered the adopted girl with deep love, and she reciprocated their affection. Although she later discovered that she wasn’t their biological daughter, her love for them remained unwavering. Growing up, she got married, and my friend was concerned about the void left without a daughter. Even though they visited her, a sense of emptiness lingered in their hearts.
On my friend’s birthday, her adopted daughter called with exciting news—she was pregnant. Overjoyed at the prospect of having a new addition to the family, my friend felt a sense of peace.
When the family welcomed a baby boy, my friend was still in the hospital. Her daughter, expressing her desire to honor her late brother, named the newborn after him. Despite tears of joy, my friend insisted it wasn’t a time for tears. Her daughter entrusted the baby to her mother’s arms, promising to return after having some tea to breastfeed the baby. The new grandmother vowed to be a constant presence in their lives, offering support and assistance throughout their journey.
