Children should be the top priority for parents, necessitating care in various aspects. Providing them with nourishment, buying toys, and engaging them in recreational activities are fundamental responsibilities. It is crucial to support their educational endeavors and refrain from burdening them with household chores. Restrictions on activities such as computer use, video watching, going out, and staying up late should be handled with consideration.
During the early years when a child may not comprehend decisions, it becomes necessary for parents to make choices on their behalf. However, as they grow older and become conscious individuals, a shift in approach is warranted. While my mom used to insist on daytime naps when I was younger, she now allows me to decide based on my preferences.
Yet, the reality of a busy schedule makes it challenging to find time for a nap amidst various responsibilities such as homework and diverse interests. I believe that cultivating awareness begins as early as the first grade. Schoolchildren are introduced to the concept of responsibility through tasks and assignments, establishing a structured routine.
